Crystal will graduate in June from CU Boulder with a Masters in Teacher Leadership. She received tuition stipends from Northeast Colorado BOCES via the Plan in Action Grant as well as our Mentor Grant Program to support her degree.
From Crystal: The certificates that completed my degree are in Cultivating Compassion and Dignity, Teachers Leading Change, and Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students. These courses have taught me a lot about myself and how I can make changes for the betterment of my students and classroom. I have worked in Yuma at Morris Elementary School for the past eight years teaching second grade, third grade, as well as being the K-4 GT coordinator. This fall I will now be teaching in the Wray School District. I love to travel with my mom when I can. I also enjoy finding new restaurants to try out when I am traveling. In the summers, if I'm not home, you can find me at Coors Field rooting on my favorite team the Colorado Rockies!!
